5 Days Saltlick | Amboseli | Tsavo West | Tsavo East from Mombasa

Day 1. Mombasa – Taita wildlife Sanctuary

Meet and Greet service by our very own driver guide. There after you’ll be taken through your itinerary briefing just to make sure that you are in the same page.

Departure from your hotel at 0600hrs. Drive along the Mombasa –Nairobi road via Voi town to taita wildlife sanctuary. Mid-morning Game drive after entry. Taita hills wildlife sanctuary hosts four among the members of the big five & it’s adjacent to Tsavo west national park. Lunch.

 

Enjoy excellent views and photographic opportunities from the lodge lobby / terraces areas. Visit the underground tunnel and bunker with ground level windows that provides unbelievably close-up, yet safe access to viewing  variety of animals as they frequent the water hole for water & salt licks.

Evening game drive will start at 1600hrs. We’ll head out to the field in anticipation to see Lion, Leopard, Elephants, Giraffe, Hyena and many more. There after return to our lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2. Taita Hills – Amboseli National Park

We shall start the day with an early morning game viewing before breakfast. Return to our lodge for breakfast. After breakfast proceed to Amboseli . Drive via Mtitu andei and Emali shopping centers to arrive in Amboseli national park in time for lunch.

4 Days Tsavo East Tsavo West Amboseli Safari

Afternoon game drive that shall take us to the observation hill. At this hill we’ll  have a better over view of the park including the adjacent marshy swamps. Wildlife is abundant in this park as well as pelicans and other bird species. But Amboseli national park is also attractive of Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s a remarkable feature in this park with its snow covered peaks towering above the clouds.

Return to your lodge or luxury camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park

Optional early morning game drive. After breakfast, we’ll check-out and drive to the park for one more rewarding game viewing. We shall cover the open fields, Marshy grounds and the woodlands in search of Lions, Elephants, Cheetah, Zebra, Buffalo, Wild Dogs and many more. The park is quite rich in bird-life.

Enjoy one more glance at Mount Kilimanjaro in clear weather. If time allows, you spare some time and visit one of the masai villages nearby. Their lifestyle is one of the most celebrated in Africa and represents a true reflection on how life used to be before civilization.

Exit the park and drive to Tsavo West national park. Game viewing after entry on our way to the lodge for check-in and lunch.

Your evening game drive will take you to Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary. The waterholes in this place play a major attraction to Rhinos and especially during the dry season. Continue with your game viewing in search for both big and small wildlife. Chances on spotting Leopards in Tsavo West is higher than any other per you’ll have visited. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4. Tsavo West – Tsavo East

“The early bird catches the worm! . We shall embark on an early morning game drive and scenery viewing drive before breakfast. Sunrise catches us as we explore the Tsavo West national park to see the early grazers and predators.

We drink in the scenic beauty of this awesome park as we explore nature at it’s most raw. It’s at this time we’ll also visit the Mzima Springs to see hippos, crocodiles, fish species and flocks of native birds. The greenery surrounding the underground springs is a welcome contrast to the dry terrain that form park of Tsavo West national park.

Later proceed with our game viewing en route to the park’s exit gate. Drive to Tsavo East via Manyani gate. Game viewing en-route to our lodge/tented camp. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive in search of the “man eaters of Tsavo East” and other wildlife.

Due to the nature of vegetation and the stunning landscape, Wildlife viewing in Tsavo East is quite enriching. We’ll traverse the vast national park enjoying your game drive.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5. Tsavo East – Mombasa

Tsavo East national park is a land of unparalleled biodiversity and naturally home to Africa’s “Big Five” – black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, and of course, lion. Other wildlife roam freely in this savanna land. There shall be an early morning game drive before breakfast. After breakfast you’ll check out and proceed for a mid-morning game drive en-route to exit.

Drive to Mombasa arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off at your resident hotel, airport
